Collection: Rhodia
Rhodia’s story begins with the Verilhac family, who established Verilhac Brothers, Paper-Maker, in 1932 in Lyon, France. The brand quickly gained recognition when the first Rhodia pad was created in 1934, its name inspired by the Rhône River and its logo—two spruce trees—symbolizing the unity of the Verilhac brothers. Known for its distinct orange cover, which has remained unchanged since its inception, Rhodia became famous for its innovative design and exceptional quality. In 1997, Clairefontaine acquired Rhodia, preserving its rich heritage and moving production to Mulhouse, France, where Rhodia pads are made exclusively on Machine No. 6. Today, Rhodia remains beloved by creatives and professionals alike, celebrated for its smooth paper and dedication to quality craftsmanship.
